Adding a banner or text ad

• Navigate to the category where you want to create the ad, and click Ads in the right hand menu.
  If you want to add an advertisement that shows on every page, go to your Dashboard and click the Global Ads icon'.
• Expire: Complete the day, month and year when the ad will expire.
  Entering 00/00/0000 will set the Ad to never expire.
• Obtaining payment for a new ad
  Assuming you are running a daily cron job to clean the directory then entering the current date will cause 2 requests for payments to be issued, on the following 2 times the cron job runs, then on the third time the cron job runs the ad will be deleted if payment hasn't been received.
• Ad Title: Enter a short title for the ad, this will be shown if the user is browsing with graphics turned off, and is also used when a renewal notice is sent.
• Website Address: Enter the URL of the website being advertised, or enter the HTML required to show a banner or to create a text ad.
• Email: Enter the email address of the advertiser for notification when the ad expires.
• Banner Type: Select the file format of the banner, or select 'HTML' if you have entered HTML in the Website Address field.
• Banner File: If you selected HTML in the previous step then skip this step. Otherwise use the Browse button to select the banner image file on your computer.
• Allow in Subcategories: Check this box if you want the ad also to show in any subcategories of the current category. Any ads entered into a subcategory, will override the parent category ad.
  This option is not available for Global Ads, they automatically will show in all (sub)categories that have no ads assigned.
• Banner Group: Choose 0, 1 or 2.
  In a standard installation:
  • Group 0: will show in the right hand column
  • Group 1: will show above the main content of the page
  • Group 2: will show below the main content of the page
• Click the Add Banner Ad to add the banner or text ad.
