Settings - Script options

Before installing the script, a few options must be updated: review the installation instructions here.

Please read:

Your website will be fully operational without changing any of the settings below, and they are only provided for completeness
There is no need to understand or review this page and most installations do never need any changes made to any of the below settings
The settings explained on this page allow customisation of your website, and can be changed at any time after installation of your goldroo software

Most of the goldroo script options are controlled from the wdcfg.php file.

The table below lists all the options and an explanation.

The table also lists the default values if the option is used in the standard installation of the script.

Options which are not used in the standard installation do not have a default value shown. These options are commented in the wdcfg.php file.

WDTOP_NAME	Name used for website navigation, see installation. This name is used for the breadcrumb trail on every page, and for some other navigation. Examples are Home or you could use the name of your website.	Home
WDFEEDDESC	Short description of your site, see installation. This is used as a subtitle to the name of your website on every page, in the top section.

WDNOCACHE	To reduce server load, and to improve the performance and lower the number of database queries, the script uses a page cache. If you want to disable the page caching, for example when testing or customising pages, uncomment this setting.	commented

WDNORANKORDER	The script will normally order any listings in the following order: Priority with reciprocal Priority Standard with reciprocal Standard If you uncomment this setting then the listings will be ordered alphabetically or per date submitted if WDLISTINGORDER is uncommented.

WDLISTINGORDER	Listings are ordered firstly by group, Priority listings first and then Standard listings. Within their group the listings are ordered alphabetically. You can order the listings within their group by age by uncommenting this setting.	1

Thumbnails
WDENTRYTH	All listings will have a thumbnail showing. Change value to 0 to turn off.	1
